I started ACLDN back in 2008 for our (armed and trained) culture. When I did so, I enlisted the aid of many of my colleagues and peers in the instructional world. We are a group of...
Thank-you all who are ACLDN members who have spoken up here. We are low key, prefer to spend our money on making the Network better, as opposed to advertising.
Hey guys, when I involved myself in this thread, I didn't expect to have to spend hours researching case law to substantiate my OPINION. I simply don't have the hours it would take to respond...
I only posed those questions before I found out who you were. Once I did, (just a few minutes later, I took the post down) and sent you a PM explaining such. That you chose to go ahead and post...
It seems like there is a train of thought that since it is okay to point the gun at the outside of the leg while drawing or holstering, then it is okay to point the gun at your groin too. But, isn't...
She being short waisted, to clear the holster the wrist bends.
Good job Mr. White. I have been thinking of doing this myself, but with a few additional controls. First, must expand the subject base to include several different body types, including females. A...
In order.
They bleed.
Depends on the class. We have about a dozen classes, which run anywhere form 6-24 or more students.
One instructor per 3-6 students on the line shooting.
Yes.
As noted earlier, I never claimed to be a SME here, despite your wrong assertion that I have. And, while you might want to see my CV, I can see no reason to do that. No one else is asked to qualify...
Okay Kingsford, you win. I cannot keep up with your misdirection as to my intent here, you even stated you were wrong in interpreting what I said, so how can I win? You misinterpret what I clearly...
The benefit of allowing people to use it in class. What one does outside class is their business.
The question mark means it is a question, not a conclusion. If one wants to misinterpret what I say to fit their own agenda, then I am not responsible for that.
I ban the practice in my training courses, the same as LAV and other. I have studied the issue, and do not believe the benefits outweigh the risk of serious injury, hence my decision.
I think one can see, that you have been jumping to conclusions. You are entitled to your opinion, of course, but that opinion is certainly not based on anything I said here.
I agree that this is worth pursuing, but it was not the subject of the original poster.
I am tied up today (away from computer, so do not have the ability to address $408 and #409. But let me say, that in this discussion, I have never stated AIWB is too dangerous, never said it...
I am glad I am not one!!!
I think the duress argument is stronger with the first time student, as opposed to someone who has taken courses before (assuming they signed waiver for the course.) It's not like they could argue...
Mitch, you should write up one and sell it to instructors. Or better yet, charge them $100 to review theirs and offer changes/suggestions.
Your position regarding signing the waiver under duress...
Maybe some of us are just slow, but get what? Get that you will not answer my questions regarding whether or not the actual information I posted was legitimate, but instead simply want to attempt to...
Here are a couple links to educational material regarding the Tort of Negligence.

Well, as you know, I answered you privately, as I didn't figure the public exposure would be something you want out in the Internet. Guess I was wrong. So, with your vast wealth of experience and...
Kevin, where did I purport to be a SME?
I will respond shortly, now that I know who you are and what you do.
Too bad more people don't have this attitude regarding appendix carry.
