Got some mileage on mine. Student used it during my red dot transition course I taught, and I ran it at team training today. The 1.1x is not noticeable in practical usage. Made hits on C zone back to...
Maybe I'm arguing semantics here, but the correct phrasing would be "It is part of *some* reflex sight designs". C-more, acro, rmr, deltapoint, I could go on .... none of them use a canted lens.
...
Neither the rmr nor the acro have this distortion issue, so no it is not part of a reflex sight design. It is part of the Holosun design, but whether it is truly detrimental remains to be seen.
One other thing we've noticed that is odd - the front glass is slanted back toward the shooter and this causes some distortion with the image you see through the sight. I'm going to get to shoot some...
My 509T just arrived this week and I mounted it up on a MOS with the CHPWS plate as well. Very slick. I'm very impressed with the form factor, features, battery tray. If they have the battery life...
I am late to the party too, started BJJ at 39. That plus mileage from the job and my body has been taking a beating. Plenty of minor injuries, nothing major yet. Big key is good training partners and...
Do any drill you want, just activate the light when you come up on target and turn it off when you come off target for a reload, malfunction, or movement.

Makes sense. The one we were eyeing does fugitive work and investigations, and you can switch back and forth. Tempting to do fun shit and actually get paid for it..

Funny you post this, some guys here were talking about it the other day. What are the big draws to go statie?

Yeah I am thinking this may be the new quarterly qual for our guys have to pass to stay on the team. Trying to get some more data before I stamp official numbers on it.
I may take the Blowers...
Yes everything from the holster. The times are pretty easy for me as well, but they were set for the average shooter and with the reduced target size, they are challenging.
Thanks for giving it a...
Not a bad idea... It would be an interesting variation on the standard fare testing that way. My intent was to emphasize accuracy and have guys bring up their speed to match it. Too often we allow...
about 3-5 feet. Thanks for giving it a run!
Cool! I tried to figure out how to put tables into the vbb code and I gave up...
Yeah I think the times are pretty generous, every time I've shot it I've been 2-3 seconds faster with good...

Anyone else?
So, my boss challenged me to come up with a new selection course of fire for our unit. He said the magic words ... "Make it hard".
I based the time hacks off of one of my rookies in the unit who's...
Damn you. I was talking to L&M about doing mine. Curious on your thoughts when you get it back. What did they charge you for the mill job?
I, for one, really appreciate you correcting me where I was wrong and not at all being a dick about it. It's super helpful and really shows that you care about other cops and making sure they have...
Man, since you're being so cool about this, I'd love for you to espouse those flagrant violations here so we all know. Use small words for me.
Okay I'll concede to this one.
The problem with Hawaii is that they are saying that if you're not there on official business, you're not a cop, and therefore LEOSA doesn't apply. I'm a cop no...
Ehhhhhhhhhhh............ I understand what you're trying to say, but that's not accurate.
LEOSA allows you to carry a gun BECAUSE you are LE in *any state*, regardless of what the local laws are....
Last I checked, Hawaii was one of the 50 states of the union. How they can decide that you're not a cop is beyond me, complete bullshit, and blatantly illegal.
