Thanks guys!
Anyone know of any duty retention holsters for the VP9 yet?
Have her shoot a VP9 at least once before she decides.
The high bore axis doesn't seem to be slowing you down much.
Even if i was jumping out of helicopters, i would rather have a VP9 going with me than a Glock.
See the "Passion of the Gun" thread.
I experienced double firing with the PPQ when i tried a friends pistol. Between that and the harsh (for 9mm) recoil, i decided no PPQ for me.
5lb break, smooth and short reset. The best i ever felt was the Caracal. Honorable mention for good out of the box triggers are VP9 and Sig P320. I find the PPQ to be too light for my taste.
Like others have already mentioned, i chose the VP9 over the PPQ due to the 40ish recoil of the PPQ and its too light for comfort trigger.
Maybe the 9mm version?
I was actually surprised how little recoil it had with 357. I guess revolvers recoil differently than semi auto's?
Im thinking about getting my first revolver after shooting a Ruger LCR 357. Is this a reliable carry piece?
How is the reset on the P07/P09?
The 229 in 9mm was my first ever pistol. I prefer the 226 due to slightly less recoil.
No not 100%. I was getting 3 or 4 hits out of a 15 rd magazine fired. It was a very windy day that day though so i think i could better those numbers. First time shooting at 100 yrds as well.
I agree. Which is why i sold my Glock's for the VP9. Im able to pop bowling pins at 100 yrds with it.
Ive gone thru Sig's, HK's, Glock's, M&P's, XD, CZ, STI, Springfield, Ed Brown & Walther in calibers 9mm, 357, 40 & 45. My "one" is the VP9. Back when the P30 was my favorite pistol i prayed for a...
Yeah im curious to see how Todd compares the VP9 with the P320 and the P30.
So not even curious Todd?
I may have missed it but i have yet to hear any feedback from Todd on the VP9. I am curious since he was such a fan of the P30. What say you Todd? Yay or nay?
How was the trigger before you put the D spring in? Smooth, heavy?
I had the Shield and PPS and the PPS was better in every respect. More accurate, reliable and the PPS grip fit my hands better. My Shield experienced FTF issues out of the gate.
Walther PPS is the Glock single stack that everyone is pining for minus the paddle release.
The Wilson would be the one to get for sure but i was looking to stay more in the 6 to 700 dollar range. Maybe the current Brig offering.
Is this a current production configuration? Could i find one on Gunbroker?
