That's pretty interesting. I've got nowhere near that level of 7 yard capability with a 1911. I know pure grip strength is not my strong suit. Nor is "mass". It makes the point even stronger for 9mm...
My recollections (fond) from my 20's is I ran a .45 1911 faster than anything before or since. But that was in the early '80's. I didn't own a timer so who knows now. But I cannot run a .45 1911 or...
