Several thousand rounds each. The 16" .45 colt one has accounted for a lot of deer and has spent a lot of time with me in a canoe or on trails.
I have two rossi m92s. They have never missed a beat and are so handy
Shot a couple 3 shot 1moa groups with 150gr Hornady sp last time out with the A4. Little bigger with 165 gamekings but they were 5 shot groups.

I think they work great when pushed to .357 mag speed
I was thinking savage 340 like csw Posted since I have close to a thousand pieces of brass
Or should I sell my components? I'm trying to ramp up getting stuff for my kids since the price of stuff is getting silly.
I'm think a Savage bolt gun. I can use up my left over bullets then...
The 6.5 only makes a significant gain at differences at distances I can't see around here.

3moa from a scoped bolt isn't great imo but it's just with generic m2 ball reloads. I'll try some different load. It was fun on my 8x8 steel at 200 yards. If I can shrink the groups...
Do you feel good about buying pulldown powder where all you have to go with is the weight of the charge found, the bullet weight and cartridge?

I run with a g19 in my snubby. It's pretty much just a holster. Med stuff quickly makes it 2 bulky. I do keep a Swiss army knife and a bic lighter in it as well. And some foam earplugs.
With that...

My new m1903a3. At 200 yards off a stump I'm keeping them in 3moa. That's with my generic m2 ball reloads. I'm hoping for a little better with either 150gr interlocks or 165gr...
I've had a couple failures on deer with 62gr sp and 75/77gr bthp. I'll cull deer with it from a stand but I don't consider it a round to hunt deer with.
This past season I did hunt with 77gr tmk...
I've shot a very large amount of predators up to deer with 223/556. If I had a scoped 556 and a scoped 308 right next to the door and the fox was within 300 yards I'd grab the 556 every time. I...
I agree that the 556 is a poor choice for hunting large game but that's not what the op was asking about.
Give me a m4 with acog with absolutely no hesitation in terms of a martial rifle.
Anything else is just a want to have
I was getting a lot of misfires today. So long wilson mainspring.

That story reminds me of hunting up in VT with my BIL and his family.
We all had our own areas to push through a large swamp. Towards the end I jump a snowshoe hare and hit him at a full...
Yeah, hopefully. I need to get it outside
Not as dark as I'd like

Needed some wood removal for the bolt handle, the bands, around the buttplate, etc but I finally got a coat of Danish oil on her
