Here's a picture of the left side of the rifle. You can see the finish wear on the stock around the midsection, I'm guessing from being carried around in that rucksack as pictured in the C&R Rifle thread.

And here's a shot of the right side of the receiver. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the gun. The sights are typical military notch and post (which is hard for me to see with my right eye), but the trigger is the best milsurp trigger I've ever felt, the gun seems in good mechanical shape, and the bore is bright and crisp.

And the locking lugs are at the front, so it's definitely a K31.

Looking at the tag, I think the top row might be "1914 Füs (for Füsilier) Paroni Joseph"
Not sure if the next line is "Felds 40" or "Telds 40" or something similar.
