Who is ready for some cool new revolvers to be introduced at SHOT?
If you are, here you go:

Looks like a Kimber copy.
All I want is a lightweight 32 LCR. I'd buy 4.
I would love to see a non-moon clip 9x19 Revolver like Korth Skyhawk type thing. I was on the waitlist at the LGS for one of those and they were discontinued before I got one.
I am. And our very own Darryl Bolke has elsewhere strongly hinted that we can expect at SHOT new revolver offerings from S&W influenced by his and Bryan Eastridge's input on what S&W should be offering in personal defense revolvers.
My interest is piqued. More info supposed to come this weekend on their AFR site; and for anyone attending SHOT, they're going to be at the Lipsey's booth.
Another run of the Night Guards would be cool.
I saw a teaser from Lipseys yesterday. Commenters seemed to think it involved S&W.
I’d be happy if some catalogued Rugers were actually available. I’ve been wanting the 5 1/2 Bisley in either 44 Magnum or Special. A local shop has been unable to find one of either for me. The magnum version was announced two years ago I think
I'd love to see a Ruger Redhawk that shoots .45 ACP that actually works reliably, unlike the previous release. I don't think they even make those anymore. Or a Super GP100 that doesn't look funky as the current ones do.
Other than that, I'd just like to see Ruger and S&W talk about how they are taking steps to vastly improve QC in the year of 2024.
I can't wait for Sunday afternoon when the release hits. I am thinking something(s) that the PF tribe will adore.
I'm ready for an old-school 640 (no lock, 1-7/8" barrel, .38 Special only) but with a pinned front blade and Novak-style rear sight.
Sounds mundane? Not to me. I think of it as "undicking-up" the once simple, durable, controllable and slightly more compact Centennial and giving it the benefit of having sights that anyone without astigmatism-free, 20/20 youthful eyesight can actually use.
But I'm the old cat who meows at clouds.
I have the Kimber K6xs and the K6s, would love to see Kimber or DB if they prove to be worthy of the $777.00 price tag to produce an all steel model in 9mm with or without moonclips. I gave up reloading last year and kept 38/357 chamberings. Man that was a mistake, as far as ammo price and availablity goes. 9mm is relatively cheap and available, they also have some premier SD offerings.
I think it is a niche that needs to be tapped.
Many old "Fudds" are looking for a 6 shot DA Revolver with 9mm chambering, in a small concealable package.
I'd buy one!
I’d love to see revolvers that don’t need a trip back to the factory.
I think most of the revolver fans will be happy with our launch tomorrow.
Jason / Lipsey’s
I bought the 38 Special 640 when they first came out. Unfortunately I traded it for a 357 SP101 when those came out as I had a 642 that was carried a lot more than the 640. I still have and like the Ruger but still wish I’d kept the 640 also.
I’d definitely buy one like you described.
I am. The fact that manufacturers are paying attention to revolvers is a very good thing. I'm hoping for a DAO 6-shot airweight 38 Special with a 3" barrel and night sights that can be seen well enough to use.
Also, hats off to Caleb. I suspect that his agitation is bearing fruit, however indirectly.
Okie John
I would like to see a 10 shot .22 mag K frame snub given the AirLite treatment.
Looking at the quick sights teaser on Lipsey’s FB page, I’ll go ahead and stake a prediction claim: return of the no-lock, K-frame, 6-shooter with Dagga Boy-approved sights. *Possibly DAO, maybe lightweight. The add does say “carry.”
I have no insider knowledge, but reasoning says that it would take more than another J-frame with decent sights to turn on this crowd. I think the bar starts at a HITS-esque fighting revolver of old, minus the lock/plus adult sights. I mean, that’s where the bar starts for me, at the least.
All that spitting in the wind aside, I can’t wait to see what we will be excited about.
I believe you. I have a 4 5/8 44 Special. Back in the mid eighties, I was at the Spring Valley Wildlife Area shooting range in SW Ohio when an older gentleman let me shoot a cylinder from a 7 1/2” Ruger Bisley 45 Colt. I think I still have the target. Some years later I ended up with a 7 1/2” 44 Magnum and a 4 5/8 Bisley Vaquero 44. Both are gone but a few years ago I got the 44 Special. Now I want another 5 1/2”.
So now what are we going to talk about until tomorrow afternoon when these are announced?

The biggest thing I took away from their podcast, was how Bolke et. al. were going to help Smith and Wesson with quality control.
Guesses for tomorrow. A 32 J frame. A lightweight K frame. A 642 with better sights
What they should do is the 342 and A lightweight K6xs type platform, Mountain guns again
I'm officially an oldster, I don't care for +P loads in lightweight guns. If this new gun is a K-frame version of a 442, then it is a target-velocity wadcutter launcher for me. I do carry revolvers with +P loads, but those are in steel-framed guns.
For me, the sweet spot is a Colt Detective Special, preferably with a shrouded hammer. After that, a short-barreled M13/19/65/66 is good.
A teaser photo I’ve seen has me betting on a .32 caliber version of a 640 Pro.
