The Saeco #348 is a 148-grain double-end, bevel-based wadcutter which is speed loader friendly when crimped in the crimp groove with beveled band forward, outside the case at 1.24" OAL. With 3.5 grains of Bullseye velocity is 800 fps in my Colt Agent -a true 2-inch gun with 0.005" cylinder gap - NOT a typical S&W J-frame 1-7/8" with 0.008+ gap. In my 4-inch Colt OP also with 0.005" gap the same load gives 855 fps and penetrates 24 inches In calibrated gelatin. In 6" Colt OP with 0.005" gap 911 fps, which approximates 147+P+ from a 3" gun, but at standard pressure. And 1000 fps from BSA-Martini with 25-inch barrel, grouping <2" at 50 yards.
