Friends traveled a considerable distance to find clear weather for the eclipse.
Then had to drive home through a hailstorm.

Had a great day here. One of the best days ever. My second total eclipse. Family came into town. And ended the day with the NCAA basketball championship. Hard to beat.

Well, she's an idiot. She doesn't even know how to pronounce cicada. She says ci-cod-a. That's how the Brits say it. My only guess is she went to private schools most of her life. And Whoopi Goldberg has clown hair. But she always was the Colin Kaepernick of talk shows.

Don't Look Up was a pretty good movie but it didn't get great reviews.

The view from Lake Champlain near the centre of the path of totality was excellent, with mountains ringing the horizon. Pretty cool experience (literally; I didn’t expect the degree—here we go again—to which it got cold during the total eclipse).
